The first Ball of Sun the player obtains is gifted to them by [[Aamy]] for completing her [[quest]] ''[[The Weather Contraption]]''. To obtain more Balls of Sun, the player needs to equip their Weather Contraption with Solar Panel Wings.

Once the Weather Contraption is upgraded, it will produce a Ball of Sun every three sunny days. (The days do not need to be consecutive.) The Ball of Sun is ready when an indicator appears on the player's [[Weather Panel]] inside their [[house]]; the ball can be collected by interacting with the panel.
