Grass Cutting is a singular side quest in Everafter Falls. The Quest is obtained on the 25th day of Summer in year 1. To begin the quest the player must speak with Pete.

He will tell the player that he needs a quick favor from them and explains that a while back Cid gave him some Edible Cards to eat as he was very hungry. He couldn't pay For the cards at the time but Cid said as payback, Pete could cut the grass in the yard behind Cid's House. Pete continues to explain that at the time he thought it was a great deal, but after tasting the cards he realized they tasted like “Sh…….Shoes”. Repulsed By the cards he offered to return them to Cid despite starving, but Cid would not accept the return. Finally he tells the player that he does not want to cut grass for nothing so instead he asks the player to do it for him in exchange for one of the cards. He explains that the player must enter Cid's house then exit through the back door and cut the long grass growing out back.

The player must now Navigate to Cids house and cut the grass growing behind it. A prompt will appear upon completing the task telling the player to return to Pete.

Upon speaking to him, he will call The player a lifesaver offering them the choice between Three cards. The cards are a random selection Of any of the Character, Pixie, or Pet cards. The quest is completed after the player picks a card.

Trivia

The player can cycle the card selection offered by Pete by reloading their save over and over until the card they want is offered.
