Fishing for a Fun Guy

Fishing for a Fun Guy is a singular side quest in Everafter Falls.

The quest is received upon waking up on the first day.

To begin the quest the player must speak with Calvin.

Calvin will explain that he's a fisherman but unfortunately can't spare a rod to the player, instead offering them some rope to craft one.

The player can use the rope and ten pieces of wood to craft a Dinky Fishing Rod.

Calvin also explains that the player can use their rod to grab items out of their reach.

He references a mushroom on a stump behind the Aquarium in the Aquarium Plaza. The player must use their fishing rod to grab the mushroom from off the tree stump.

Once they have the mushroom they must return to Calvin and speak with him.

He will congratulate the player as well as offer them the choice between a Green Fishing Mod, a Yellow Fishing Mod, or an Orange Fishing Mod.

The quest is completed after the player picks a reward.

Trivia

The Caramel Fan Shroom the player grabs off of the tree stump can not be turned into the Museum or sold, but could in previous patches of the game. This could cause players to not be able to finish the quest until finding a new Caramel Fan Shroom.
