The Weather Contraption is a singular side quest in Everafter Falls. The quest serves as an introduction to Aamy's Project Workbench. The quest is received after waking up on Day three.

The quest is started after talking to Aamy. She will explain that she used to make things at her workbench together with the player, and that she has set up a new project for them to get reacquainted with her workbench. The project is a machine that can be placed in the player's house and will enable the player to see the next day's weather.

In order to complete the project and complete the Weather Contraption the player must donate items to Aamy's workbench in order for her to assemble it. The items required are as follows:
Wood (30)
Copper Bar (2)
Rope (5)

Once the player has collected all the required items, they must return to Aamy's workbench and deposit the materials. A prompt will appear saying the project has all the required materials and Aamy will work on it overnight.

To finish the quest, the player needs to talk to Aamy, who will say she will work on their new weather device and tell the player how to upgrade it as well as build other things at her Workbench terminal. The next upgrade for the Weather Contraption is the Solar Wings that produce Ball of Sun, and Aamy will gift the player an extra Ball of Sun for their hard work.

After that conversation, the The Weather Contraption will be complete.
