Meal Service is a repeating side quest that becomes available after completing Helping Hersha Cook. The quest requires the player to complete a cooking minigame and has eight stages, with each stage having a different selection of dishes and offering different rewards. The higher the player scores in the cooking minigame, the better the reward they get. If the player scores enough points, the reward arrives to their mailbox the following day.
Conduct
The quest triggers in the morning of every 15th and 30th days of each month immediately after the player wakes up and expires at the end of the day or after the player participates. To participate, the player needs to speak to Hersha anytime before the day ends and agree to start the event. During the event, the day does not progress until the event is over.
Once the event starts, the player is transported to the kitchen on the top floor of Hersha's Bakery with several Mixing Benches, Ovens, Stoves with Frying Pans, and various cooking ingredients at their disposal. The recipe book is available in the top left corner of the room, allowing the player to view all recipes in the menu; the timer is paused while the recipe book is open. Several characters will be seated at the tables outside and will give the player their orders. Each customer will order one dish at a time, with a timer above their head displaying how much time before their order expires. The player has to cook the dish a customer requested and bring it to their table to get one point. There is no penalty for letting an order expire.
The goal of the minigame is to serve as many customers as possible within the time limit. If the player scores enough to win a prize, they will get it in the mail the next day.
Dishes and prizes
The quest has eight stages. The player has to complete a stage to get a new one next time; the stages cannot be skipped by ignoring the quest and letting it expire.
