Small Coop
Small Coop is a farm building that can house small animals: Chickens and Geese. One Small Coop is on the player's farm when they start the game, and additional Small Coops can be ordered at Aamy's Project Workbench and then placed on the farm to be built; once built, the coop has three spots for placing animals.
A Small Coop can be upgraded to a Big Coop by ordering the upgrade at Aamy's.
Obtaining
One Small Coop can be found on the farm at the start of the game; however, only one nest inside can be used immediately, and the other nests need to be repaired using Grass Fibre and Wood.
Small Coop can be ordered at the workbench inside Aamy's House and costs the following materials:
Wood (250)
Stone (150)
Brick (10)
The next morning after all project materials are contributed, Aamy will send the player a placeable Small Coop Plan in the mail. The construction fee of 3,000
can be paid once the project is complete.
Like all other buildings, any coop placed on the player's property can be moved or removed using the Moving Terminal inside Aamy's house for a small fee. There is no hard limit on how many coops the player can have on the farm at the same time provided they have the space and the required materials.
Raising animals
Once built, a Small Coop can house three chicken or geese. (The coop needs to be upgraded to a Big Coop in order to house Spudges.) An eligible animal can be held in hand and assigned to an empty nest inside the coop by holding it in hand and interacting with the nest; each nest can be assigned to one animal. The list of all animals currently living in the coop can be viewed by interacting with the poster inside. The list shows each animal's name, mood, age, and their favorite food.
The animals housed in a coop will appear inside it and will go outside to graze if the player leaves the coop door open; they will go out in the morning and return back inside in the evening automatically. The animals that are let outside will get a happiness bonus and drop their products on the ground for the player to pick up.
Machines, decorative furniture, and storage chests can be placed on unoccupied floor squares inside any coop.
