Life Shield is an Edible Pet Card in Everafter Falls. The Life Shield skill allows to player to drop to zero Health Points without passing out once per day. Instead a magical barrier will surround the player, replenishing a certain percentage of their health, as well as making them immune to all damage for a period of time. The amount of HP replenished and time the player becomes immune to damage is based on the card's level; base level Life Shield heals for 30% of max HP and protects for 3 seconds.

While Life Shield has a level cap of one, equipment that adds levels to cards ignores that cap and instead adds additional levels on top of it if the card has eaten the card once. Each additional level of Life Shield increases the amount of HP healed and extends the duration of the pet's protective shield. Level 4 or above Life Shield will fully heal the player when it triggers.
