Crit Orb is an orb that can be inserted into any empty equipment slot to grant it an additional +3 Crit Chance bonus. Once slotted in, a Crit Orb can only be removed by destroying the equipment it is attached to in the Workshop Furnace.
Obtaining
Crit Orb can be obtained as a random drop from treasure chests in the dungeons or crafted in the Giant Furnace for 500 
by smelting the following items:
Obelite Stone (1)
Gold Bar (5)
Fire Essence (1)
One Crit Orb can be obtained from a pink Prize Key cabinet inside Bram's workshop.
Upgrading
Three Crit Orbs can be combined into one Crit Orb + at the Blacksmith:
