Edible cards are consumable items that upgrade a specific skill for the player in Everafter Falls. There are currently 19 total edible cards in the game. Some edible cards can be consumed multiple times to increase the effects of their related skills; others can be consumed only once.
Some equipment can add levels to the player's cards once they have eaten at least one. Equipment that adds levels to cards ignores a card's max eatable cap and instead adds additional levels on top of it if the card has already reached its maximum level.
There are three types of cards in the game: Pet Cards (red) that give the player's pet an attack, allow it to heal the player, or expand its task queue; Character Cards (blue) that give the player extra item drops and allow them to bound more pixies and get more benefits from them; and Unique Cards (gold) that give large bonuses but can only be consumed once.
Obtaining cards
Some cards can be obtained as quest rewards; the quests that give card rewards usually offer the player a choice of one card of two or three.
Most Pet and Character cards, with the exception of Pixie Friendship and Pixie Synergy, can be purchased from the Museum at the yellow terminal for 1 Museum Credit each or printed at the Print Shop for one Blank Organic Card and 1,500
. Pixie cards are much rarer, and can only be obtained from the Pixie Guardian or from Cutting Grass side quest.
Unique cards are not available at the Museum. They become available for printing in the Print Shop after completing Missing Files; printing one gold card on a Blank Organic Card costs 5,000
. Two unique cards, Amulet Plus and Pew Pew!, are not available for printing and are only available for purchase for gold on the far counter of the Print Shop.
Unused cards can be sold: 200
for Character or Pet cards and 500
for Unique.
