A Maple Tree Seed or a Maple Tree Sapling can be planted in untilled soil on the player's farm or most other map locations. The seed will grow into a mature tree in 13 days. For the tree to fully mature, its eight surrounding squares have to be kept empty of other trees; if a tree seed or a sapling is planted close to another tree, it will not grow past the second sapling stage.

Maple Tree seeds can be obtained by cutting down fully grown Maple Trees (50%). A Maple Tree Seed also has a small chance to drop from cutting a grass clump with a sword. Maple Tree saplings can be grown from seeds or picked up when they randomly spawn in the wild.

Products

A Maple Tree can be cut down with an axe to get wood, with the amount of wood dropped depending on its growth stage. Additionally, a fully grown Maple Tree has a 50% chance to drop one Maple Tree Seed when it is cut.

A fully grown Maple Tree can be tapped to get Maple Sap:
