Four seasons exist in Everafter Falls: Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Spring. Each season lasts thirty days and has a distinctive visual style. The game begins on the first day of Summer. After a complete a cycle of seasons the game moves forward one year when Summer starts again.
Most crops, fruit trees, and mushrooms are available only during their particular season or seasons. Other items, like fish and critters, are not seasonal and are available all year round.
Dungeons and indoor areas and plants are unaffected by seasons.

Some festivals and special events have set days and reoccur every year.
