Ball of Sun
Ball of Sun is a special resource and consumable item that is only produced by the Weather Contraption after it is upgraded with Solar Panel Wings.
Obtaining
The first Ball of Sun the player obtains is gifted to them by Aamy for completing her quest The Weather Contraption. To obtain more Balls of Sun, the player needs to equip their Weather Contraption with Solar Panel Wings.
Once the Weather Contraption is upgraded, it will produce a Ball of Sun every three sunny days. (The days do not need to be consecutive.) The Ball of Sun is ready when an indicator appears on the player's Weather Panel inside their house; the ball can be collected by interacting with the panel.
Uses
Boosting machines
A Ball of Sun can be placed in hand and used on any busy machine that uses coal as fuel (Furnace, Evaporator, or Glass Maker) to finish its production instantly and output 3x of the product.
