Dark Wood is a special type of wood that is used for building and crafting. Dark Wood can be harvested by green or rainbow pixies from Orb Trees and the Great Dream Tree next to Dawn's house. It is also dropped by Orb Trees if they are cut with an Axe, but harvesting Dark Wood with pixies is a more sustainable way that does not involve destroying rare and expensive Orb Trees.
