Greenhouse is a farm building that provides an indoor space to grow seasonal crops and fruit trees out of season.

Cost

A Greenhouse can be built by completing a project at Aamy's Project Workbench. The project becomes available after completing The Weather Contraption and costs 12,000 and the following materials:

After completing the project, the player will receive a greenhouse blueprint in the mail. The blueprint can be held in hand and placed on the farm. It takes up a 7x7 area and several days to be built. The player can place as many greenhouses on they farm as they wish to and have the space and materials for.

Using a greenhouse

A greenhouse can be entered when Aamy's drones finish building it. Inside is a plantable 11x13 area; the paved walkway next to the entrance cannot be tilled. Any crops that can be grown on the farm can also be planted inside a greenhouse: all crops, flowers, fruit and regular trees. The plants inside will not be affected by season differences: fruit trees will fruit all year round, seasonal crops will grow during any season, and multiple harvest crops will persist infinitely until they are uprooted or wither if not watered. Crops will grow normally and need to be watered regularly by the player's pet or drones; while the crops will never die with season changes, they can still die if they are not watered for five days.

Trees can be planted along the walls and will grow normally; each tree still needs eight spots around to be free from other trees to fully mature. Trees do not need to be watered. Regular trees planted inside a greenhouse can be tapped like the trees planted outside; fruit trees will fruit all year round.
