Ores are a resource that drops from mining specific rocks in small amounts, or from pure mineral rocks, which drop more. Using pixies on ore rocks and pure deposits will yield a daily drop instead.

Ores can be processed into bars using the Furnace and used for crafting a variety of items. All raw ores and metal bars can be donated to the Museum as part of its Metallic Ores collection.

Raw ores

Four tiers of ore exist in the game, with Copper being the cheapest and most common and Mythril being the rarest and most expensive. The most common way to get ores is mining in the dungeons or on the main map or placing pixies onto ore rocks and deposits on the map and in the tunnels.

Raw ore can also be purchased at Cid's Store or obtained for smelting equipment in the small furnace in Bram's workshop. Lower tier ores can also be converted into higher tier ores using Alchemy Machine.

Metal bars

A metal bars is crafted by smelting five ores in a Furnace. Metal bars are widely used in crafting.
