Spell Reversal Potion is a singular side quest in Everafter Falls. The quest becomes available after completing A Strand of Hair.

Edgar sends the player a letter in the mail asking them to come by and talk about Cid. When the player finds Edgar, he tells them they need to fix Cid's situation with Hersha. He sends the player to gather the ingredients for a Spell Reversal Potion so Dawn can brew the potion and free Cid from Hersha's spell. The ingredients are the following:

• Elf Stone can be obtained by breaking strange stones. Additionally, while the quest is active, the player has a ~6.67% chance to catch an Elf Stone during the fishing minigame unless they have it turned off in settings.
• Totonut Oil is produced in a Fruit and Honey Press from two Totonuts and one Empty Bottle. Totonuts can be harvested from wild totonut trees on the map or grown on the farm.
• Strand Of Hair is given to the player by Edgar when they receive the quest from him.

Once the player gathers all ingredients, they need to talk to Dawn with all of them in the inventory. Dawn takes the ingredients off their hands, crafts a Spell Reversal Potion, and hands the potion to the player so they can deliver it to Cid. (The player can also attempt to give the potion to Edgar who will send them to Cid.)

The player needs to deliver the potion to Cid to complete the quest. Cid drinks the potion on the spot and is very happy his obsession with Hersha is finally broken. He then asks the player if they have learned not to mess with others' feelings in the future, and the player has a choice to agree or disagree. If the player says they have, Cid says that made him feel a little better and gifts the player the unique Heart Poster. If the player says they have not, Cid says that is a shame but still gives them a reward: the unique Heart Break Poster. The quest ends when the player receives their reward.
