The Cursed Era Rune
The Cursed Era Rune is a singular story quest in Everafter Falls. The quest is received when the player obtains the Cursed Era Rune which drops after slaying King Blobu in the first pillar dungeon.
After obtaining the rune the player must bring it to Dawn. She will mention how brave the player is for battling Blobu. She goes on to explain what she will need to purify the new rune. The player will need to obtain another Moonflower and some Water Sap which can be obtained from tapping a Water Tree.
Once the player has the Cursed Era Rune, a Moonflower, and Water Sap they must return to Dawn. She will take the items and tell the player that she needs the rest of the day to work on purifying the rune, but will remind them via the mail when she finishes.
The quest is completed once dialogue with Dawn is concluded; however, the player must still pick up the rune from her the following day to receive a reward. When they speak to Dawn to pick up the Era Rune, she will also grant them a choice between three random unique Edible Cards cards excluding Pew Pew! and Amulet Plus:
Trivia
Since the choice of cards Dawn offers is determined when the player speaks to her to claim the rune and reward, the player can reload their save to reroll their reward and get the card they need.
