Pixie in a Bottle
Pixie in a Bottle is a singular side quest in Everafter Falls. The quest is received when the player wakes up on Day four. This quest serves as a tutorial for how to capture Pixies in bottles.
To begin the quest, the player must speak with Fin. He will explain that he needs the player's help. He says that pixies are fragile and should not be handled directly, however, there is one living in his roof. Fin believes that the pixie would be much happier outside, and that it makes a constant twinkling sound which he finds very annoying. To remove it he will need a Pixie Bottle, which is the only way to handle a Pixie. Fin will send the player to talk to Dawn in order to obtain a Small Pixie Bottle, saying she owes him.
The player must then navigate to Dawn and speak with her.
Dawn will question Fin's statement asking if the Player would like to hear the story of why Fin believes she owes him. The player may choose to listen to the tale or not with no consequences. If the player chooses to listen, it is revealed that on a very dark night while Dawn was berry picking and Fin was fishing, a very large shadow in the water approached Fin at an alarming rate. As Dawn screams, Fin jumps into the air, while the fish lunges for him. Fin, however, is startled by Dawn's scream instead of the massive fish, prompting him to perform a “pathetic somersault flying kick”, which lands directly into Dawn's face. Fin believes he saved the day from a non-existing threat, and therefore is owed a favor. Reluctantly Dawn tells the player that she will in fact give the player the pixie bottle anyway as a favor to them and not Fin.
The player must now return to Fin with the bottle. Talking to Fin with the bottle will have him overjoyed as he brags about his heroism. He tells the player he is going to mail the bottle back to them after he catches the pixie in his roof, thus completing Pixie in a Bottle.
The next day a letter from Fin will arrive with the Pixie Bottle containing a green and a blue pixie which can be used as the player sees fit.
