Crafting is a game mechanic that allows the player to combine ingredients and materials to create a variety of useful items, including machines, potions, tools, ink, drones, and even furniture and decorations. Crafting is done from the main menu. Crafting is instant, provided the player has all necessary materials to craft the item they want; the items that can be crafted using the materials in the player's available inventory are highlighted in the Crafting menu. Crafted items appear in the first empty slot in the player's inventory and can be placed or used immediately.
Some items are crafted in multiplies per one recipe; these items have a number after their name in the tables below.
Tools
Tools are items used for completing a variety of tasks on the player's farm or beyond. Some tools can be upgraded at the Blacksmith.

Machines
Machines are placeable items that are used to process raw resources into more valuable processed goods. Most machines in the game can be crafted.

Some craftable items cannot be used to process ingredients by themselves, but need to be placed on or near other machines to modify their input or output.

Processed items and materials
A small number of processed materials can be crafted in the crafting menu. Empty glass and quartz bottles can also be smelted in a Glass Maker with a Bottle Attachment to avoid using Super Glue.

Drones and drone parts
The player can craft Water and Harvest Drones and a variety of parts for upgrading the drones. Support Drone can only be purchased in Cid's Store.

Potions
The player can craft Health Potion that can be consumed to heal them in dungeons and a variety of Yummyberry and Everberry juices.

Ink
A variety of inks can be crafted on a separate page of the menu as well. These inks can be used to change the color of furniture to the color of the ink applied at a cost of one bottle of ink per furniture piece.
