Bee Hive is a machine that can be used to house up to four Bees or Pink Bees that will produce Honeycombs and Pink Honeycombs over time. A Bee Hive with only regular bees in it will produce regular honey; a Bee Hive with one to three Pink Bees or with any combination of regular and Pink Bees in it will produce pink honey; and a Bee Hive with four Pink Bees in it will produce unique Giant Pink Honeycombs.

The player can catch the Bees and Pink Bees as they spawn in the wild, shake fully grown trees that have a chance to spawn a Bee, or attract Bees or Pink Bees to their farm by placing the Artificial Sunflower there.

Bee Hive can be crafted via the Crafting menu using the following:

A free Bee Hive can be picked up from the gated area south of Freya's that can be unlocked using a Community Gate Key or a Master Key.

Use

Bee Hive can be placed on the farm but will not start producing until at least one Bee is placed in it. Every farm will produce one Honeycomb or Pink Honeycomb regardless of how many Bees or Pink Bees it has. The base production time for a Bee Hive is 142 hours, reduced by 24 hours for every Bee or Pink Bee placed in it.

A Red or a Rainbow Pixie can be placed on an active Bee Hive to reduce its production time by 50% and 80% respectively.
