Shell Extractor is a machine that can be placed on any beach to extract shells from the sand every day. Shell Extractor requires no fuel to operate.

Obtaining

Shell Extractor can be crafted via the Crafting menu using the following:
Solar Panel (1)
Stone (25)
Big Sand Dollar (2)

Use

A Shell Extractor can only be placed on the sand on the northern beach, the beach in the northwestern section, or the sandy areas in the middle of the Moat Farm. Any placed Shell Extractor will produce two of the same shell at the start of each game day (four or six if it is boosted by a red or rainbow pixie respectively). Additionally, if a Shell Crusher is placed to the left or right of a Shell Extractor, it will attempt to produce a brick at the start of the day.

The shells received from Shell Extractors depend on their rarity. The player's Luck does not affect their chance of getting rarer shells from Shell Extractors.
