Epic Critter Terrarium is a machine that can be used to breed and hatch a variety of critters. It is an improved version of the regular Critter Terrarium that will always hatch critters not yet donated to the Museum.

Epic Critter Terrarium can be obtained in the mail as a reward for completing Cedric's Rocket. It also has a very small chance to drop from a Fine or a Grand Treasure Chest or some treasure chests inside dungeons.

Use

Breeding

Two frogs, dragonflies, or flutterflies of the same size can be placed into any Critter Terrarium to produce Tadpoles, Dragonfly Nymphs, or Cocoons. The time critters take to breed varies based on their size: 2 days for tiny, 5 days for mid-sized, and 6 days for giant.

When a Tadpole, Nymph, or Cocoon are ready, a red exclamation mark indicator appears on the terrarium. The product can be picked up to resume production by holding the pick up button.

Hatching

A tadpole, nymph, caterpillar, or cocoon can be placed in an Epic Critter Terrarium and will hatch a frog, dragonfly, or flutterfly respectively after a certain number of days. The time required for an item to hatch depends on its size and type, with larger tadpoles, nymphs, and caterpillars taking more time.

Unlike a regular Critter Terrarium that always produces random critters, Epic Critter Terrarium will always produce a critter that has not yet been donated to the Museum. If all critters of its size and type have been donated to the Museum already, the Epic Critter Terrarium will produce a random critter.
