Sacred Tree area is an end-game special location accessible via the portal on the northwestern beach after the player clears all four pillar dungeons, defeats the final boss, and restores the Sacred Tree Rune in the related quest.

Tree and Sacred Blossoms

When the player enters the area for the first time, the Sacred Tree is dying and needs to be restored to life by feeding it one Orb Syrup daily. Orb Syrup can be obtained by processing Orb Sap obtained from tapping Orb Trees in an Evaporator; the player can also get one free bottle of Orb Syrup from Dawn by talking to her after unlocking the area. The tree needs to be fed five times before it will start producing Sacred Blossoms every two days.

Sacred Blossoms grown on the tree can be harvested and planted to expand the light from the tree to other parts of the area where several sacred spires are located. These spires contain late-game machines and rare animals; the items held on the spires can be picked up once the player leads the light to the spire and surrounds the spire with four Sacred Blossoms on every side.

Sacred Blossoms can only be planted on already lit ground. Once the blossom sprouts, it turns into a random flower and extends the lit area to its eight surrounding squares. The flower will be one of the following:

Blue Firebloom (15.49%)
Fair Prairie Blossom (15.49%)
Purple Tulip (15.49%)
Pearl Reaper (10.33%)
Purple Evening Glory (10.33%)
Red Evening Glory (10.33%)
Sunflower (7.51%)
Flutter Flower (5.63%)
Rey Flower (4.23%)
Starflower (2.82%)
Zire Flower (2.35%)

The flowers that sprout from Sacred Blossoms take three to five days to grow. Mature flowers can be picked up and then donated to the Museum, sold, or turned into flower seeds in a Seed Creator. Both flower seeds and Sacred Blossoms can also be planted in untilled soil on the farm to decorate or grow more flowers.

A Sacred Blossom can be placed into a Seed Creator to duplicate it if the player needs more blossoms to expand the light further. A red or rainbow pixie can be placed on the Seed Creator to further increase its output.

Spires and rewards

Several spires with items are placed throughout the area:

  • Rock Smasher , the machine used for smashing strange stones at a decreased price and with increased speed, in the northeastern corner. Picking the Rock Smasher up unlocks its crafting recipe.
  • Baby Pink Goose immediately to the east of the tree. The goose still lays the same eggs as a regular teal or purple goose, the only difference is cosmetic.
  • Albino Ponya further to the east of the Pink Goose. This ponya produces the same candy as a regular ponya; however, picking the Albino Ponya up and assigning it to a nest awards the Rare Breed achievement.
  • Animal Cloner in the southeastern end of the area. This machine allows the player to clone animals. Picking the Animal Cloner up unlocks its crafting recipe.
  • Baby Neon Cow in the southwestern corner. Unlike regular Cows, Neon Cows produce Electric Milk.
  • Seed Creator that is used to create seeds from regular and flower crops is to the west of the Sacred Tree. Picking the Seed Creator up unlocks its crafting recipe.
  • Moonflower Alpha Seeds are north of the tree. The seeds can be planted on the farm to grow a single Moonflower Alpha that is not obtainable elsewhere. Only a single packet of the seeds is on the spire; to produce more Moonflower Alpha Seeds, the player can place the flower into a Seed Creator once it matures.
