A Magical Gift is a singular side quest in Everafter Falls. The quest is given to the player by Calvin and becomes available the morning of Day 21 of Autumn on Year 2.
Calvin tells the player what he fished out a magical necklace that he is willing to give the player in exchange for one piece of Golden Rope. The rope can be randomly obtained by processing any raw fiber on a Spinning Wheel or its upgraded versions; more expensive raw materials like alpaca thread have a higher chance of dropping Golden Rope compared to the basic Grass Fibre.
When the player obtains some Golden Rope and hands it to Calvin, Calvin rewards them with the Fish Finder, a unique piece of equipment that gives a 30% to catch a fish or shell that has not yet been donated to the Museum if the player has the fishing minigame on.
